Topic Are You in Compliance with the New Local Law 196?

We are now only few weeks away from the December 1st, 2019 deadline for Site Safety Training (SST). As a requirement of Local Law196 of 2017, workers at jobsites requiring a Construction Superintendent, Site Safety Coordinator (SSC) or Site Safety Manager (SSM) must have a total of 30 hours of safety training by December 1, 2019 and a total of 40 hours by September 2020. Supervisors must have 62 hours of training by December 1, 2019.

The seminar will cover everything employers and workers need to know in order to avoid penalties and stay in compliance with Local Law 196 including the newly updated credits equivalency.
