Alexis Daniels, CIH, CSP, CHMM is the Facility Safety Administrator for the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) of the City of New York. She has over 18 years’ experience in the field of Safety, Health, Environment and Training, having worked previously in the private sector at Sodexo, BlueWater Thermal Solutions, Faurecia Interior Systems, and Associated Fuel Pump Systems. She earned her M.S. in Biology from Tennessee Technological University and a B.S. in Biology from South Carolina State University, as well as numerous certifications from OSHA and the City and State of New York.
A Certified Safety Professional, Alexis is also a Certified Industrial Hygienist and Certified Hazardous Material Manager.
A native of South Carolina, Alexis moved to NYC with her husband to assume a role as Safety Training Coordinator at the NYC Department of Health & Mental Hygiene before assuming her current leadership role at the MTA.
