Lisa Baker, MS, CSP
Lisa has a diverse background as an environmental, health and safety professional in both public and private sectors throughout New York and New Jersey. Her seven years of experience in the field span across various industries such as environmental and construction management, pharmaceutical, and higher education. Lisa currently serves as the Director of Occupational Health and Institutional Biosafety Officer at Montclair State University where she is responsible for supporting all academic and administrative units across the organization.
This includes providing access to high quality work-related health services on site, management of work-related incidents, ensuring compliance with all medical surveillance requirements, development and implementation of policies and procedures, review of research on campus, ergonomic evaluations, training development and delivery, correspondence with regulatory agencies, and evaluating injury and illness data.
Lisa has a Bachelor of Science in Biology from William Paterson University and a Master of Science in Occupational Safety and Health Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. She is Certified Safety Professional (CSP) as accredited by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) and an OSHA Authorized Outreach Trainer in both General and Construction industries.
